Fox on the Approach
From £32.00
The same gorse-lined spot as the wider shot, but caught mid-step as the fox closes the distance to the lens. That steady, unbothered walk is typical of a fox that's used to being watched rather than hunted.

The red fox is Britain's only wild dog-family predator, equally at home in city back gardens and open countryside, and one of the most vocal British mammals - its calls range from sharp barks to the eerie, scream-like call most often heard on winter nights during the breeding season. Its hearing is sharp enough to pick up a small rodent moving under snow or leaf litter.
