Fox in the Long Grass
From £32.00
A tight portrait catches every guard hair lit by the sun, ears fully forward and eyes locked on something out of frame. Less about setting, more about the animal itself, this is as close to a studio portrait as a wild fox gets.

The red fox is Britain's only wild dog-family predator, equally at home in city back gardens and open countryside, and one of the most vocal British mammals - its calls range from sharp barks to the eerie, scream-like call most often heard on winter nights during the breeding season. Its hearing is sharp enough to pick up a small rodent moving under snow or leaf litter.
