The Alnwick Garden's Grand Cascade is the centrepiece of a garden created from scratch from 1997 by Jane, Duchess of Northumberland, on the site of the historic walled garden belonging to Alnwick Castle. Around 120 jets move thousands of litres of water down its tiered stone steps every minute.
